really good experience but some minor details need attention
The suite's design was amazing, with a spacious layout that felt both luxurious and inviting. The in-room open-air bath provided a serene escape, perfect for relaxation after a day of exploration. The mountain view from our room was lovely.
I found the escorting around the hotel a bit excessive and it could be seen as intrusive.

We loved the beautiful mountain views from our room and really enjoyed the private onsen experience. Staying with 5 teenagers and 2 children, we appreciated the spacious accommodations with air conditioning, flat-screen TVs, and DVD players, made our downtime enjoyable.

Kinnotake in Hakone impressed me with spacious rooms with fine designs. The Beautiful Suite with Open-Air Bath 'KIRAMEKI' gave an inviting feel. Service stood out, with attentive staff fulfilling every request. I enjoyed a delicious dinner and breakfast that highlighted local flavors. The private onsen added a special touch of relaxation, definitely a highlight for me after a long day. Getting escorted around the hotel felt a bit excessive at times, which could be inconvenient for some guests. It's a unique touch but could use clearer communication upfront.

Great escape for Easter. Wonderful Japanese cultural experience with lovely traditional food served. Beautiful nature surrounding the hotel, and small, peaceful pond to enjoy. the private onsen was also a highlight, with stunning views of the surrounding area.
For such an expensive stay, the lack of English-speaking staff was a disappointment. It made it difficult to get much-needed travel information.

Private onsen and great food!
This hotel offered a unique and unforgettable experience with its private onsen and delicious meals. The location was remote but worth the drive as it provided a relaxing escape from city life. The rooftop onsen had beautiful views and a romantic atmosphere. the kaiseki dinner and Japanese-style breakfast were great ways to experience local cuisine.
Although the hotel had great amenities, there were limited activities nearby which could be unsatisfying for adventure-seekers. language barriers with the staff made it difficult to communicate and receive help with some issues.
